DUALAM is equipped with two coating units, a five-roller transfer coating unit and a closed chamber gravure coating unit. The A and B component glues are respectively coated on the two substrates, and then go to lamination and rewinding unit. Compared with conventional solventless lamination system, this innovative design can bring at least the following advantages:
★ There is no need to use a mixer, which can avoid problems caused by improper cleaning and maintenance of the mixer.
★ The curing speed is much faster. The laminates can be passed to slitting or pouch making process in 6 hours at the fastest, which greatly reduces the delivery time.
★ The glue opening time is much longer, so it is no need to clean the coating unit when changing jobs, which can save much time for job changeover.
★ DUALAM adhesive reaction produces fewer bubbles, the appearance quality of the laminates is greatly improved, especially for high barrier materials.
★ It can be cured at room temperature of 20-25 degrees Celsius, which can reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions.
